[_ Old Earth _] How did the amazing Fibonacci Sequence evolve

The Fibonacci sequence is merely an artifact of the way nature works. So, it appears naturally, pretty much like other mathematical descriptions of nature like the Feigenbaum number. It's not a magical thing "designed" into nature; it's a consequence of a few simple rules (or maybe just one) by which it all works.

So the arrangement of leaves on a stem, that maximizes exposure to sunlight follows the Fibonacci sequence. Not because some space alien designer invented it but, like evolution, because the Creator made those rules at the beginning. No magic, just creation.

Magical? Yes indeed the Creator made the rules (information) in the beginning...Creation!

I don't think of His creation as mere magic. He created the universe to develop as he intended. And as we've shown before, creation is compatible with evolution, but not with YE creationism.

So ow did it evolve?

glad I never mentioned magic. So a simple yet universal commonality that governs the formation of myriads of things...a pattern followed....

It is, like the rest of the universe, simply the consequence of just a few rules. Or maybe just one. When we look for reasons and find them, it's always elegant in simplicity. God is no tinkerer; He made the universe to do His will, and it does.
