This is actually a hard one. I know Paul talked about the mind of the flesh being constantly at war with the mind of the Spirit, or as one translation put it, "7 The sinful mind is at war with God. It does not obey God's law. It can't. 8 Those who are controlled by their sinful nature can't please God."

But as far as the wicked being constant enemies of God, I'm not sure what verse you are looking for.

10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

I would say no so much with verse for starters But how to rightly divide, Studying basic words as to thier foundational meaning it can save much time, Especially the words like prophet, prophecy and Apostle. change the meaning one word change the authorship of God all the commandments

Deuteronomy4: 2 Ye shall not add unto the word (single) which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it,(single) that ye may keep the commandments (plural) of the Lord your God which I command you.

False prophet, false apostles the enemy of faith (the unseen things of God)

Another learn the purpose of parables seeing without them Christ the Holy Spirit spoke not. also understand if God has begun the good teaching work in you he will remain faithful to the end he is our very confidence. .he has our back

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

No I wasn't adding or subtracting I was trying to find a particular verse but wasn't sure if it started out with the wicked or enemies of god.

No this isn't it but thank you anyway it's not like a popular verse that's probably why I can't find it online but yes the enemy has taken it away. May the lord help me find it.
