Pardon me please in going off topic. Since we are studying the beggining of things which will eventually move into be establishment of Israel, I thought it would be nice to post the following.

Dear Friend,

Today marks Yom Haatzmaut, Israel's Independence Day!

There is a very good reason why Yom Hazikaron always precedes Yom Haatzmaut. Israelis owe their independence and the existence of a Jewish state to the IDF soldiers who sacrificed their lives for it.

Praise God that America still is on the side of Israel. :salute

Sorry Reba...I had to sneak this in...it is true...

I know we are off topic but I do want to tell you about John Kerry (as he was the Senator from my state)...when running for President many people tried to compare him to Ted Kennedy...however though his moral character left much to be desired, as a Senator Ted Kennedy was a really good pro-active for his state Senator (and I was no fan)...he fought for his constituency for 20 some odd years bringing us Headstart, Elder-Care, Fuel Assistance, and more...but when polled randomly (and I did some of the Polling) when asked "Quick! Name one thing John Kerry actually did for the State of Massachusetts?"

Guess what? Not one person (Dem, Repub, Independent, or otherwise) could think of one thing Kerry actually did for our State...not one....
