National Biscuit Day

I know! It seems like it is alive or has a spirit of its own.

I checked to see if there was anything on my birthday (March 11). There isn't but the month has some pretty neat days in it. The ones I like best are
March 12 - World Maths Day
March 14 - Pi Day

And the best of all...

March 25 - International Waffle Day

The TOG

I have a problem digesting waffles sometimes.I guess they are rich and heavy. But I do love them.Ya just got to had a couple pieces of crisp bacon with them there waffles :)

I wanna go home so my Dad can make me waffles and pancakes!!!
I can't make pancackes... I cook the first one perfectly and then burn the rest.

It took me awhile to learn how to get the inside done without burning the outside. When I first got married I won't even talk about my cooking abilities. My mom tried to teach me but I was not interested.

I'm a pretty good cook, when I have directions to follow, for the most part.

I baked with my kids when they were little. It takes alot of patience. My youngest daughter ended up loving to cook because of her experiences with us baking stuff.

When I was younger, say 12 or 13, and Mom made dinner I didn't like, I wouldn't eat it, and then later in the evening I would make Snickerdoodles.
Sneaky, huh?

If my son didn't like something I made he would very carefully put it under the table and the dog would eat it.Actually I did not know about it till recently. When my youngest daughter went to a day care center when I was working she would stuff the food she did not like in the rolls.

When I was a toddler my parents would laugh at me because I would suck chicken. Like a chicken leg or something. lol

I used to sigh in happiness when my Dad would toss me a slice of bologna...

I was silly.

That is cute.I used to love it when my kids first started eating finger foods.I would put a couple of cherrios on their high chair tray and they would very slowly pick them up one by one. :)

Did you ever give them sour foods like a lemon to see if they'd have funny look on heir face? :)
