every time i see your profile. i think of my grandma. she was jewish and that proverbs 31 verse was used for her. it fit in many ways.

Hi there; some great thoughts about historical-grammatical interpretation! It's not what's between the line, so often, it's what's on the line! Mark Twain said it wasn't the bits of the Bible that he didn't understand that troubled him; it was the bits that he did understand! Knowing what is really meant isn't often the problem.

There are a couple of churches in the area that I'd be interested in checking out. The difficulty is that at this time, while I'm an adult legally, I still live with my mom and she's not too keen about all this. Plus we only have one vehicle right now, so on Sunday morning I don't have much choice.
I can view sermons online for now, I guess. There is this Bible study I attend, too, and I love going there.
