What's Your Favorite Sport?

It could be a sport you actually participate in
or something you like to watch and enjoy.

I can't think of a sport I enjoy watching...
But my favorite sport is riding a bike.

It's so easy to go fast and move along.
The wind feels nice on my face and hair.
It's a feeling of freedom for me.

This is a good place. No traffic at all.

Currently Frisbee golf, golf, fishing, and trap shooting.

I lettered in basketball in highschool.
Weightlifting was just a hobby at that time.

I liked baseball but I was never serious about it.

In college I was a competitive adult beverage consumer and womanizer.

Whichever part I happen to tune into. I don't usually tune in for the whole game, just a little while. I remember playing football at recess during school.
 
I'm not to much into sports, but hubby loves his Pittsburgh Steelers. I keep telling him no matter how loud he yells at the TV they can not hear him :angry3

In the summer I do enjoy riding the ATV's and canoeing. In the winter I'm a recluse and stay indoors.
 
Fishing, hunting, ATV riding, camping (real camping, not RV-ing), farming, gardening and not necessarily in that order. Some of those may not be considered sport but they are to me as they are hobbies.

I enjoy watching pro football, baseball, and hockey on occasion but don't go out of my way to catch a game. It's actually rare that I'll sit down to watch an entire game from start to finish except maybe during the playoffs or with friends.

Ditto. And the winters are very mild here, but there's no real reason to leave my comfy home!

I used to love gardening. My garden always looked so nice and I looked forward to doing a little section every day.

No can do anymore because of my back problems.
We got a gardener now. He does a good job,,,,but,,,
ugh!
 
I enjoy spearfishing the most. It far exceeds any other sport I have tried. No matter how hard I try, or what I add to them, I just cannot get footballs or baseballs to taste nearly as good as the fish. Quail hunting is next on my list but the spear shafts take to long to reload to sport more than one per covey.
 
I've been looking to start scuba diving...
All the gear and the fish and critters you get to see.

Lessons are expensive...so is the gear.
 
I got certified in college. Yep, it meet my requirement for one elective course in FL for an engineering BA. Back 30 years ago tuition was relatively cheap too.

I took some advanced certs through a dive club within the military, pretty cheap too. Basically they just charge for the books and the PADI fees.

Used equipment (Craigslist, ebay and even the internet dealers) isn’t that expensive. Lots of people buy a complete package then find they don’t really like it. Send any used regulators in for annual service ($50) and they’ll go through it pretty well. Rent tanks till you find it more convenient to have your own. Or even rent it all if you only dive a couple times a year.

Anyway, I’d check local dive clubs (not dive shops) for basic recreational classes, then a local college if a club isn’t an option. Some go to Mexico on vacation to get certified fairly cheap.

P.s. make at least 50 dives and be very comfortable diving before you actually start spearfishing.

Plus, with spearfishing, your in saltwater diving off a boat (versus calm freshwater). I.e. more things to worry about. Not to mention the tax man (sharks).
