There are many attributes of God namely Aseity Eternity, Holiness, Oneness, Love,, Trinity etc. The greatest attribute of God is "HOLINESS". Holiness is the fundamental attribute of God. In Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 4:8, the bible says the Seraphim do not cease to say "Holy,Holy,Holy is the Lord God
The hidden name of God is "HOLY". Isaiah 57:15 says " For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy.". Everything about God is holy, His name, word, thought, throne, angels, His everything
Many Christians rejoice in their sins today but still claim to be children of God, that is not possible. 1 John 3:8 says "anyone that is sinning is of the devil" vs 9 says ""No one who is born of God will continue to sin"
Sin separates a Christian from God and your level of holiness determines your closeness to God. Anytime we commit sins, we are separated and far from God because He can not condone sin. "Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil , and can not look on iniquity Habakkuk 1:13". The arm of God is not too short to save us nor His ear too dull to hear our prayers but our sins separate us from Him Isaiah 59:1
Satan fell because of pride, Adam lost the beautiful garden of Eden because of fruit, David lost the throne of Israel because of sex (with Bathsheba), Moses did not enter Canan land because of sin, Judas lost his place with Jesus because of 30 pieces of silver. Don't let sin ruin you, run for your life.
Sometimes we claim our faith is the key to heaven, yes it is. But faith alone can not take us to God because faith without work(holiness) is dead says James 2:26. Jesus says "if you love me, then keep my commandments John 14:15".
Many time we hide under grace to sin. We claim grace covers us, even when we sin. Paul says in Romans 6:2 that we can not be in sin and expect grace. The Bible says the unrighteous will not enter the kingdom of God 1 Corin 6:9
