W.O.F

W.O.F. means word of faith.
This is an expression that began with E.W.Kenyon.
Kenneth Hagen took hold of this belief and went to town with it.
Kenneth Copeland followed as has many others.
It seems that every preacher that falls into this category becomes a millionaire.
It's a good line of work.

Many W.O.F. preachers do not believe the same as others regardless of their income.
Name it and claim it.
This is an expression that comes from W.O.F.
Not all W.O.F. preachers openly proclaim this.

So where do we stand with W.O.F. preachers?
The same as all others.
Check out their doctrine and go from there.
Name it and claim it doesn't tell the whole story.
Rather, believing that God wants to bless you, and you praise him for it even before you receive it, is a more accurate understanding.

God does want to bless all of us.
But we need to believe that.
If we are in pain and we dwell on the pain, then the pain has control over you.
But, regardless of the pain, if you worship God and thank him for the healing before you receive it, well, that's faith, real faith.
If our needs are money, health, relationships, a new home (or used home) or whatever our needs, believe it.
God wants you to prosper and have it.
Give him praise and glory for what he is going to do for you even before you receive it.
And in God's time, not ours, you will have it.

I bet there are 'faithful preachers' who can barely make it. I also bet there are 'faithful preachers' who are rich.

Whether they be rich or poor doesn't matter. Is it God Who is using them?

God can use your health. God can use your suffering.

Will God bless you with riches? I don't know. If so praise God. Will God bless you with suffering? I don't know. Will we praise God in it? Hard to do.

Word of Faith would miss it here, I believe. It's not God's will that we all prosper materially on the earth. To some it is appointed to be nothing but martyrs. And that don't mean you have to die.

I always thought that word of faith was a biblical term? :confused

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8-10

Well, the preachers had to get it from somewhere.
