Topic: The Corporate Spirit
Highlight: "Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear." - Isaiah 65:24
When the corporate Spirit of God falls upon a Church, there will be several testimonies of miracles, signs, and wonders. The hand of God will also move in that church.
The Corporate Spirit is also very important in the life of an individual. The Bible says, "Iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." In the context of Isaiah, this suggests a deep, intimate connection between God and His people, where He anticipates their needs even before they express them.
Historically, this reflects the covenant relationship God had with Israel (His church by faith), where He promised to be their God and they His people.
This is why a Christian must choose to attend a fellowship with other believers, as the Corporate Spirit of God robes on an individual who seeks God in Spirit and in Truth in fellowship with others.
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them." - Matthew 18:20
The passage suggests that God's presence is practical and especially strong when people are together in faith and unity, bringing down the corporate presence of God.
Go and find out as an individual who prays to God in His closet and see God move individually, but once such a person goes to church with true believers, they feel fulfilled and blessed more than they do alone.
This is the reason you, as an individual who has a personal relationship with God, must go to church; otherwise, the Corporate anointing from the Corporate Spirit will be missing in your life.
You should have fellowship with other true believers of Christ after being born again because of the following three reasons:
1. A single soldier cannot fight or win a battle alone. We are all soldiers of Christ. As 2 Timothy 2:4 says, "A soldier on active duty doesn't get caught up in the business of everyday life. He wants to please the one who enlisted him."
So, what the Corporate Spirit does is that once you are identified in your local church as a member, and you remember someone as your church member, you become relieved that you are together in the Spirit, doing active service for God.
This means a lot in the Spirit realms, as thinking about them brings love and satisfaction to the Spiritual bond where the Corporate Spirit is required.
"How good, how delightful it is when people live together in harmony! This is as precious as the oil used to anoint Aaron, running down from his head onto his beard, onto the collar of his clothes. It's like the dew of Mount Hermon that falls on Zion's mountains. That is where the Lord gave his blessing of life that lasts forever." - Psalms 133:1-3 (FBV)
You and I are an integral part of where the Lord gave His blessings that last forever. So, we must flock together as His sheep, so we can give our Shepherd joy.
When one sheep is missing from the flock, the Shepherd is grieved and has to look for it. Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. - Psalms 100:3
Sheep are happy and secured when they flock together with other sheep. Know that you possess the Corporate Spirit of God when you are already happy, collaborate, and cooperate with other sheep of God, doing His will. Otherwise, you are in good Spiritual shape when you are in good tunes and actively collaborative in God's work with other believers.
"Who is allowed to go up the Lord's mountain? Who is permitted to stand in his holy place?" - Psalms 24:3 (FBV)
All of us are His sheep when we allow His Corporate Spirit to govern us.
When He saw the crowds, Jesus was deeply moved with compassion for them, because they were troubled and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. - Matthew 9:36
In conclusion, a Pastor or leader is required to lead the people of God in love, so that the Corporate Spirit will manifest as a cloud.
Now, whenever the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out on their journey, following it. - Exodus 40:6
You are going to Church to serve Jesus Christ, who is the head of the Church. - Ephesians 5:22-25
Praise the Lord!
Prayer: I come to the flock, O Lord of the Sheep. HERE I AM, LEAD ME!
