    Could The USA Be Babylon?

If you compare the traits of Babylon to all of the countries in this world, which country comes closest? In my opinion, the US is the Babylon of this age. That doesn't mean its THE Babylon.

THE USDA HAS STOPPED SHIPMENTS TO FOOD BANKS

This appears to be a sign of the times. Look at what's happening in Greece to see what hungry people do. I can't help but see hunger and violence in the future for the United States.

    What is self-righteousness, really?

What's the difference between Righteousness and Self-Righteousness? Matthew 5:48 Self-righteousness can be internal or external. What I mean by that is there are those "Holier than thou" people who see themselves as superior to others. Those people are internally self-righteous, and are...

    Pentecostal Christian

Most Pentecostals don't even understand everything about Pentecost. All they understand is the Pentecost of Acts. And then they cling to speaking in tongues. Some denominations, such as AoG, won't allow you to hold office without evidence Baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the initial evidence...

    Christians vs. Non-christians

God is the final arbiter regarding salvation. I can say that I believe that those that lived before Jesus, that were looking forward to the Messiah, will be saved. Those that haven't reached the age of accountability will be saved. I think those without the mental capacity to decide would be...

    It's Almost Sukkot

My boys had fun camping last night. Our little one complained that he got a little cold, so we'll run an extension cord and space heater in tonight. There's no use turning an 8 yr old off of camping because he's uncomfortable. Our teenage boys had a great time. ... Oh... The burden...

Do you plan on going camping next week?

I do. I'm definitely not legalistic about it. My church and my parent's church celebrate Christmas. So we observe Christmas Eve with my parents at their church service. We still sing Christmas carols. We still give gifts Christmas morning, but I see it as a secular holiday. You have to...

Do you plan on going camping next week?

Well, it's based off of the Hebrew calendar, which is a lunar calendar. This means that the holiday is celebrated on a different day every year, which is much like Passover or Easter. The easiest way to learn when to celebrate it, is to look it up on a hebrew calendar. www.hebcal.com :D

Do you plan on going camping next week?

Good Question :) Some people may not be aware of what Sukkot is or how to celebrate it. First let's examine the scripture. Lev. 23:4 Leviticus 23:4 indicate that these festivals are the Lords, and he would like his followers to observe these Holy Days ... Holidays. So they are God's...

Do you plan on going camping next week?

We'll ALL be observing The Feast of Tabernacles in the future, according to Zech 14:16-19. Why wouldn't I celebrate a joyous occasion, that God himself wants us to observe?

Do you plan on going camping next week?

Since observing the Lord's Feasts are controversial, I thought I would post a poll to see who is observing Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles). Remember, This is a festive holiday, so let's try not to argue. All Nations are to observe the Feast of Tabernacles Zech 14:16-19
