    on a side note...I do know the scripture you speak of. :) And yes, it does say to turn away from them. But that is a last resort sort of thing.

    And yet Jesus associated with sinners just like that all the time...to the complaints of those who claimed to be followers of God. Heck, He had dinner with them, which is the same as fellowship in that culture.

    You could also say that being a "fan" just means you are excited about God...with very little follow through. Your a fan, you get hyped up. But that's it.

    There's a book I like called Not A Fan which basically seperates Christians into two types..people who are FANS of Christ...the type that go to church, love the concept of God but don't want to put any effort into it. And the true followers...the ones that sacrifice...give it their all.

    Of course. :) There is no biblical stance to be against it. It's not a sin. As long as it doesn't fall into becoming a idol. (focusing so much on tattooing your body up to extremes that it becomes really an idol for the person) But that doesn't sound even remotely the case here.

    So...you say that when we see these terrorist attacks it's Islam showing it's colors again. So...when a Christian kills a bunch of people in a mass killing...is that Christianity showing it's colors again? We can't compare one extremism without comparing another.

    If a someone get's a tatoo or not...it's no business of anyone else. There's nothing wrong with tattoos. I don't have any myself...but from a biblical standpoint there is nothing wrong with it. Unless of course you take a particular scripture and twist it.

    We're a really large church (but small on the inside!) :) So we have a lot more resources than a lot of the churches in our area...it allows us to do more. We help bring women of all ages out of the sex industry here in the US as well as in places like Thailand by building an apartment complex...
