    The Emptiness of Atheism

There is also evidence against it. If you reject worldwide scientific consensus because of an ancient scribe, you aren't applying critical thinking skills. I have finally learned to embrace the mystery of life and the universe, instead of trying to insert a deity or any other religious belief...

    If God Loved everyone !

The usual theological backflips, I see. Of course, I've seen much more sophisticated ones, but it's all trumpery. And it's only a matter of time before the calvinistic cop-out arrives: "See, you never really were saved!"

    If God Loved everyone !

I'm convinced that no amount of theological gymnastics can reconcile eternal punishment with a God of love.

    contradictions in the bible

I've examined Panin's work and others similar to it, and that isn't at all true. Numerical patterns within texts, especially the bible, have been thoroughly refuted by using critical thinking methods. People believe inductive hypotheses due to our natural tendency towards confirmation bias...

    The Stella Awards..

These aren't true. There are crazy lawsuits, but these are apparently fabricated. Snopes says so.

    Is house church biblical?

It seems as though you've fallen into believing the "purity of the early church" myth. By the way, 'house meetings' can become extremely corrupt.

Is it a sin to get your tongue pierced?

It's what proceeds from within that defiles (leaven).

    Naming a Child

Oh, it's just that I'm seeing a lot of christian twenty-somethings naming their kids the common bible names -- Malachi, Isaiah, Noah, Micah, etc. As a matter of personal taste, I prefer something more unique. I think Asher and Jada are pretty cool names.

    Naming a Child

If you're gonna choose a biblical name, at least choose something that isn't cliché.

    Should Christians drink wine?

Been there--done that, brother! (I think I have the t-shirt around here somewhere...) Now here's a guy that knows how to enjoy the Father's abundance. :)

Should a woman make more money than her husband?

My wife made more money than I when we first got married, and as a guy it did hurt my pride a bit. But soon I got a job where I made more, so I was happy. ;) But that was before we had a kid. Now, my wife stays at home to raise our daughter (1 yr old), and I think that is the right thing to...

End Times, Tribulation, Rapture, NWO, anti-christ

Howdy, fellow Tennessean! I think dual fulfillment is interesting. I may look into it more. Thanks for posting.

    Should Christians drink wine?

I agree, I don't find the unfermented grape juice argument convincing at all. Some SDA guy wrote a book that promoted and helped to popularize this view. Go figure. Some opponents also make a big deal out of the fact that biblical wine probably had a lower alcohol content that modern wine...
