    I agree totally with you. Unfortunately, pre-tribbers think that Jesus will come twice and the resurrection will happen at the first coming which is not the appearing of the glory of Jesus.

    "how wouldnt the world know that the entire church is gone?" I agree it would be obvious when 95% of the church goers disappeared. Some would be left behind who had heard of the rapture and the word would spread like wildfire. The Left Behind series never attempted to address this problem.

    You said the blessed hope is the resurrection. Please reread my original post, especially the section on Granville Sharp's rule which is widely accepted. His rule says the blessed hope is the appearing of the glory of Jesus.

    I agree with you. Imminent should mean, "it is going to happen soon." However pre-tribbers have redefined it to mean, "nothing is prophesied to happen first." If you accept their definition, and I do not, then something could be imminent for 2,000 years.

    This resurrection is at the second advent. The Bible says it is the "first resurrection." That means there was no resurrection 7 years previously so there was no pre-trib rapture. Similarly there was no mid-trib or pre-wrath rapture. Post-trib has to be true. This looks like rock solid evidence...
