1 John 2:12-14
English Standard Version (ESV)
12 I am writing to you, little children,
because your sins are forgiven for his name's sake.
13 I am writing to you, fathers,
because you know him who is from the beginning.
I am writing to you, young men,
because you have overcome the evil one.
I write to you, children,
because you know the Father.
14 I write to you, fathers,
because you know him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men,
because you are strong,
and the word of God abides in you,
and you have overcome the evil one.

12 Younger people need to be told what is right and wrong so it is something that they remeber when they grow up. Teaching young childeren about Jesus is a very good way of doing this. Also young believers are to be neede to be told the simple truth and not get into doctrine untill they learn the basics which are salvation and love.
13 Fathers usualy get together after having a child and so they start to see things differently. With age and wisdom that one gets from being a good father it would be easier for them to realize that there is God but John writes to them to point them to Jesus. For one to have a father's love makes one be able to understand God's love for us more. Being a young is full of struggle today one is faced with going to colleage or work. Finding a job is not easy today. Colleage is not cheap. Young men are faced with tempations of pleasure but if one turns to the Lord as a young man they got their whole life to serve the Lord instead of sin.
14 Tru reading the word and serving God we gain the strength in faith to overcome evil thru God's aid. Staying in the word is important for all believers to grow in faith so we may over come struggles with sin.
