1 John 5:13-15
KJV(i)13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

These are my thoughts please share yours.
13 Faith in Jesus for who He is is what leads us to salvation by the grace we can have by His death on the cross. Our faith is given by Him to us whcih leads us to Him for salvation. Christ rose from death and by Him trhu our faith we can as well
He will rise us up from our death.
14 We are to live by God's will and we should ask what is God's will. We should want God's will to be done thru us and by us. Not all things that we ask will be done because somethings are not in God's will, even though it may not be sinful it may not be God's will.
15 God will hear all our prayers if we our of Christ somethimes we will recieve answers that are hard such as no or wait. It is not always easy to see why we are not able to get our prayers answer with a yes when it could do good but, God knows what is best for not just us but for all. It is God's will for all to come to Him, not all are going to though but, if Him telling me know will lead someone to Him then He will always say no.
