1 John 5:18-20
King James Version (KJV)
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

These are my thoughts please share yours.
18 Jesus was born of God so He is sinless and we are to follow after Him when we make Him our Lord and God will not let us fall out of His grasp. Satan has no power over us and no control over us. We fight our flesh not satan because us coming to the Lord defeated satan as regards to us. Now the Lord may allow us to have evil pass our way to trust in Him more to not fall into. The Lord allow evil to happen to us for us to grow in faith.
19 We are not meant for this world but for the world that will not be fallen in the state of sin as this world is. Satan is given control by God of this sinful world but He does not give satan His faithful. Jesus will come back and take His place as King of this world, satan is just keeping the throne warm.
20 Jesus came to die on the cross and start the Christian faith; He will return to take His throne and reign with those of the Faith He founded. We are able to understand the truth thru God without Him we will not see the truth. We are as believers to grow after Christ and not grow after the flesh as we once did. We are heirs to God's glory with Christ.
