I'm with you on this one.

The only time I read instructions is when I've wired something up according to what I think it needs to be wired up like and then it doesn't work.

That's when I look for signs of the magic smoke being let out and read the instructions on the next one.

I find instructions could really be confusing to a person.
Plus, if they can't figure out on their own how to get the object set up, they don't really deserve to have the object in question.

I bought my first PC back in '95. It didn't come with instructions. Hey, if I could figure this baby out, I could do anything!
