I'm with you on this one.

The only time I read instructions is when I've wired something up according to what I think it needs to be wired up like and then it doesn't work.

That's when I look for signs of the magic smoke being let out and read the instructions on the next one.

I actually cracked this joke to a female customer one time. (Ok, yes she was blond...lol)

Ha. I fit a little under half of those catogeries. And for a list that probabley covers well over the magority of people in one aspect or another, I'd wager that having a little less then half mean being a little less then average intelligence. That's ok though. I personally think people, when thinking for themselves and using what they've got, over all are fairly bright and intelligent. In one way or another anyways. So being average in my opinion is pretty cool. Even if it's just below average.

Dogs, squirrels, raccoons, even horses and pigs are geared to be human-friendly. But, cats just have themselves in mind. Maybe they can't help it, but it turns me off to most of them. Although I HAVE met maybe four cats in my lifetime that I took a shine to.

You're right. Cats are different. They're self-sufficient. They don't care about their owner. They don't have an owner. They're the boss. Whatever you do, don't take them away from their home. They own it. They run it. They come and go as they please. If you're lucky, they'll give you a cute look just before you put their food in front of them. Then they're gone. Don't need you anymore. Oh. And you better be ready when they are to open the door, close the door, let them in, let them out. Don't make any loud noises when they're sleeping, walk gingerly so as not to disturb whatever they're doing, put that Frontline Combo on them real quick because their patience runs out in about 3 seconds. What did you expect? The cat is the king and he rules.
