They cannot fathom not having a remote control.


Jay Leno has always been on the TonightShow.


Popcorn has always been cooked in the microwave.


They never took a swim and thought about Jaws.

They can't imagine what hard contact lenses are.

They don't know who Mork was or where he was from.

! ! They never heard: "Where's the Beef?", "I'd! walk a mile for a Camel", or "de plane, Boss, de plane".


They do not care who shot J. R. and have no idea who J. R. even is.


McDonald's never came in Styrofoam containers.


They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter.

Hey, we cooked popcorn on the stove, and didn't use the remote for awhile, plus we didn't have cable, cuz we were POOR, no we were PO' you know what they say about not affording the or on poor , we were that poor.In fact I used to be the antennaes on the TV left leg up, right hand on my head, we didn't have a remote either , don't know how it happened so anywayz,Yeah.Things are better now though, we got cable, and eat more than rice,and beans for dinner.Movin on up.

Going through those things isn't a bad thing, people born with the "silverspoon" can be so shallow uncaring and superficial. Thank God for the 'valley', it's there that we grow.

We still don't have cable. Just PBS, NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX when the weather's right. We also still cook popcorn on the stove.

Mork, by the way, is from Ork, and he said, "Nano, Nano." (Okay, so I haven't actually seen the show, but I have heard plenty about it.

I agree about what ya'll said about not having as much and appreciating what you do have. We're still rather poor, but we are blessed beyond measure.

By the way, did you know that the Bible considers being old (which I don't think you are) a good thing? Maybe it's rough sometimes, but look at this way, you're wise and experienced rather than not-so-wise and naive. Take care!

Yeah, I'm not alone, and PBS is cool my fav. channel still.But one thing about gaining more it can still blind you if you aren't careful.And No, I'm not old, in fact considerably, no really young.
