I never stick around on a forum this long but you guys are a lot of fun. We don't always get along but we're all out here doing our thing for the Lord and I appreciate you all for that. From my heart to yours, whether you're OSAS or Pre-Trib or Partial Preterist or Catholic or Pentecostal, an old fogey or a young cat, and whatever you think of me, I love you! God bless you! Glad to be among this number!

An holy kiss for my beloved brother.

God bless you.

What in the world is a holy kiss?

I can say that their is a very broad range of beliefs on CF.I am very, very glad that my discernment is very sharp.I think it might be rather concerned for a new Christian that they are getting the literal true theology.

a holy kiss is how the French, the arabs, the greeks and the Italians and the jews greet each other still. a kiss on each cheek.

As an old Orthodox we used to take it quite literally. On "Forgiveness Sunday" we'd greet each and every person with a hug, a holy kiss on each cheek, and ask for forgiveness from them for the sins we've committed against them. Lots of tears. An atmosphere of surrender and holiness. Brings a tear to the eye thinking about it.

I'm gonna ask Pastor if we can do a foot washing here soon at church. But I digress. Thank you all very much. Heard it loud and clear my brother Jethro and I return it with all love.

The concept of kissing as a sign of affection.

In America it's almost entirely connected to making babies. Not so in other cultures.
A kiss is a kiss. What is the difference in a kiss and a "holy" kiss?So does this have to do with Europe and other countries? They call their kisses a holy kiss?
And for your information I have kissed and I have not gotten a baby from it.If that were the case I sure would have a huge family.

See, if you're like a lot of Americans, a kiss is connected to sexual attraction and arousal, not brotherly/sisterly affection.

Get your buttocks into a close knit, open fellowship and you'll begin to see what this is all about.

Well, that all depends on the kind of kiss.I sure was not aroused when I kissed my mother, father, brothers or children. If I am on my honeymoon then maybe that is the kind of kiss you are talking about.

Understand?
