14 But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
13 Not all things the Apostles said are contained in the scriptures. John may have said many things and even some where the Spirit spoke thru him may not be contained in scripture. We are not to take what people say as the word but to see what people say by what the word says.
14 We should want to see other believers and want to show and share with them what the Lord has shown and done for us. John wanted to share with others the stories of Jesus and tell them the gospel we should seek to do the same. Face to face may be harder to do but is often more effective way to witness.

Right on Clark, I can just imagine the stories that the Apostles had to tell each other. Those were some extraordinary times. I think Scripture only hold's a tiny bit of all that Jesus was able to accomplish through His Apostles and other believers. Wow, to be there must have been exciting to say the least....Good post Clark.
