A good quote can also be incredibly encouraging and grant us a different perspective on our circumstances. Sometimes it’s helpful to hear the truth framed in a unique way from a fellow follower of Christ. Here are some uplifting quotes about God and faith…

What is a Contributor Journal? It’s a journal where you share encouragement with someone else. And it’s super easy to make! Here’s how it works:
First, get a group of people together who want to encourage each other. Get blank journals for each person in the group and have them write their name on it. It doesn’t have to be a journal – it could be letters or sticky notes if you’d like! But a journal is nice so there is a collection of encouragement built up over time that a person can return to whenever needed.
Second, place the journals somewhere where they are easily accessible. If you live in the same house as the other members of your group, you could put the journals in the kitchen or living room. The idea is to have them around so people will think about them and write in them often.
Third, write in each other’s journals as much as you can! Encouraging Bible verses, quotes, and notes like we discussed above are great – even jokes if you’d like! Whatever would uplift the person you are writing to and bring a smile to their face.
Finally, take the time to read through your journal and see all the things your group has shared with you! Return to it often and whenever you need to be encouraged.
