It makes sense. After all, the vast majority of the world's Christians belong to denominations that admit that scripture in no way contradicts evolution.

It doesn't mean that those who believe that it does, aren't Christians; one's position on evolution has no relevance at all to one's faith in God. You could believe that God just poofed everything into existence at once, with faked ages and all. Wouldn't matter if you were otherwise Christian.

It makes no difference to Him what you think of the way He created things.
