Wired magazine had an article about synthetic sight where they wired cameras to people in different ways. One was to the optic nerve, another was directly to the brain. The final result was the ability to drive a car in a parking lot. I would expect there to be a 'fix', but she is so adorable and sweet that I cant say she needs a fix.

I saw a similar piece on Scientific American Frontiers. Back when the show was taped, they talked about reaching 1024 pixels. Not too bad.



That video was awesome, Hitch and the smile on the face of the mom as she communicated with her adorable daughter is priceless.
