For centuries, the Holy Spirit has been one of the most mysterious and fascinating concepts in Christianity. We all heard about him at school, during catechesis, or in church. But do we really understand who the Holy Spirit is and what amazing things He can do in our lives?

The Holy Spirit is the presence of God in our lives that allows us to discover new possibilities, grow spiritually and experience true love and peace. His presence in our lives is something that is difficult to describe in words, but at the same time it changes everything.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity who enters us to guide us, transform us and give us strength to fight sin. However, what exactly happens when the Holy Spirit enters our lives?

Today we are going to introduce you to five amazing things that happen when the Holy Spirit enters our hearts and minds. Together we will discover how the Holy Spirit can change our lives forever and open our eyes to what is most important.
First, when the Holy Spirit enters our lives, something amazing happens - it gives us a new spiritual birth. What does it mean that the Holy Spirit gives us a new spiritual birth? In the Gospel of John, Jesus says to Nicodemus: "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."
In this context, "water birth" refers to physical birth and "spirit birth" refers to spiritual birth. This means that when the Holy Spirit enters our lives, we receive a new life - a life that is beyond what we see around us. But what exactly do we get in this new spiritual birth? First of all, we receive forgiveness of sins.
The apostle Peter says: "Repent and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Forgiveness of sins is not only a relief for our soul, but also an opportunity to enter into a relationship with God, whose love and grace are immeasurably great. Spiritual new birth is one of the greatest gifts we receive from God after receiving the Holy Spirit.
This is the moment when our heart and mind are completely renewed and we become new creatures in Christ. The Holy Spirit who enters us makes an inner transformation that leads to the awakening of our faith, hope and love.
The Bible speaks of a new spiritual birth in the Gospel of John, where Jesus says to Nicodemus, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Jesus spoke of a spiritual birth that is necessary for entering the Kingdom of God. It is through faith in Jesus Christ and receiving the Holy Spirit into our lives that we are spiritually born again.
The new spiritual birth is related to the renewal of our nature. When the Holy Spirit enters us, our old self dies and we receive new life in Christ. We were once slaves of sin, but now we are becoming children of God.

In the second letter to the Corinthians we read: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away, and behold, all things have become new."
The Holy Spirit entering us leads us to discover our new identity as a child of God. He is the one who renews our thinking, enabling us to see reality from God's perspective.
The First Letter to the Corinthians says: "For the natural man does not understand what is of the Spirit of God. It seems foolish to him, and he cannot know it, because it can be discerned only by the spirit." When the Holy Spirit works in us, we begin to understand God's plans and purposes, and our lives gain meaning. The Holy Spirit gives us a new spiritual birth through the transformation of our interior.
It is a process that begins with accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and the entry of the Holy Spirit into our lives. The Bible calls this a "renewal of the mind" and a "new creation." When we become children of God, the Holy Spirit fills us with His presence and begins the transformation of our character.

All that was old is passing away and all is becoming new. A new spiritual birth means that we become a new person, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and given new life in Him. This means that our sins are forgiven us and we are set free from the power of sin and eternal death.
The moment the Holy Spirit enters us and we receive new life, it begins to live in us and work. It is a unique experience that brings many benefits to our spiritual life and everyday functioning.
In the first place, when the Holy Spirit enters us, it begins to work in our mind and heart, helping us better understand our relationship with God and with others. We begin to see what actions are right and wrong, and what choices and decisions bring us closer to God.

The Holy Ghost helps us understand our true identity as children of God, which enables us to learn to love ourselves and others in ways that matter. As the Holy Spirit begins to work within us, our faith becomes stronger and we become more aware of our place in the world and in the Church.
The Holy Spirit gives us the gift of wisdom and power that help us survive difficult times and adversities, and also help us in our daily work and responsibilities. The Holy Spirit also works in our relationships with others. It helps us to understand what our needs and those of others are and how to meet them in love.
It helps us to be patient, kind, and understanding with others, and it shows us how to speak and act in ways that bring love and peace. In the Bible we read that the Holy Spirit is given to us to guide us and also to comfort us. When the Holy Spirit works in us, we feel His presence and support at every moment of our lives.

He brings us peace, joy and hope, even in the most difficult situations. When the Holy Spirit enters our lives, He enables us to understand the Scriptures in a way that we would not be able to do on our own. The Holy Spirit helps us to understand the context and meaning of individual passages of the Bible, and to see the Bible as a coherent whole.
We become able to connect individual fragments and discover new, deeper meaning. This is extremely important because many errors are made by people who interpret the Scriptures in an inappropriate way, which leads to distortions of its original message.
However, through the work of the Holy Spirit, we are able to avoid such errors and always stick to the true message of the Bible. In the Catholic Church, we know that the Holy Spirit is not only our comfort and guide, but also a teacher who explains the truths of God to us.

When we begin to read the Bible under the influence of the Holy Spirit, the words of Scripture become more understandable to us. It often happens that passages that once seemed unclear or difficult to understand suddenly take on a new meaning and become clear and understandable.
The Holy Spirit helps us to understand not only the words of the Bible itself, but also its historical and cultural context, which allows us to understand its message even more deeply. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit is our teacher: "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own, but will speak all that he has heard, and he will declare to you the things that are to come
." When the Holy Spirit works in our lives, he helps us understand the mysteries of God and leads us to greater knowledge and wisdom. The Holy Ghost also helps us understand how we can put the Bible's guidance into practice in our daily lives.

The words of Scripture become guidelines for us on how to live in accordance with God's will and how to manage our lives. By reading Scripture under the influence of the Holy Spirit, we begin to understand what values are most important to us and what attitudes we should adopt in our relationships with other people.

When the Holy Spirit enters our lives, many amazing things happen. One of them is that we receive spiritual experiences that allow us to draw closer to God and deepen our faith. Spiritual experiences are different types of experiences that allow us to feel the presence of God and understand His will.

They can take many forms, from visions to feeling the presence of God in our lives. These experiences are very personal and each person can experience them in their own way. One of the most common spiritual experiences is the feeling of peace that arises in the heart of a person who gives himself to God.

This is often accompanied by a sense of relief and inner joy that comes from believing in God and trusting in His plans for our lives. Another spiritual experience may be a vision or dream accompanied by messages from God. They can be simple words of encouragement or specific guidelines that help us make the right decisions in life.

Spiritual experiences can also result from our prayer. When we talk to God, we often feel His presence in our lives and we receive answers to our questions and requests. Prayer can also be a way to discover one's calling and understand what God's purpose is for us in our lives.

Some people also experience charisms, or gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as languages of prayer, healing, or prophecy. These gifts are given to us by the Holy Ghost so that we can serve others and help them in their faith. It is important to remember that spiritual experiences are not an end in themselves.

Their true value is that they help us draw closer to God and deepen our faith. Therefore, we should be open to these experiences, but always subject them to verification and be guided by the principles of Christian faith and morality. The Holy Spirit, as the Third Divine Person, has extraordinary power and influence on our lives.

One of the most beautiful things that happens to us when the Holy Spirit enters our lives is that it helps us to pray from the heart. In today's busy world, many people complain about the lack of time for prayer. Often prayer becomes just a duty, an activity that we do without real need or commitment.

Prayer can become a mere formality, devoid of spirit and power. However, as the Holy Spirit enters us, our prayers become deeper, more powerful, and more authentic. The Holy Spirit helps us to pray from the heart because He Himself is the Spirit of prayer.

In the Letter to the Romans we read: "Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For when we do not know how to pray as we ought, the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words." The Holy Spirit is able to understand our needs and pains, even if we are unable to put them into words ourselves.

He himself intercedes for us and transmits our requests to God the Father. It is thanks to the Holy Spirit that we can pray in an authentic, sincere and full of faith way. Moreover, the Holy Spirit helps us to understand that prayer is not only talking to God, but also listening to His voice.

When we pray from the heart, we open ourselves to God's inspiration and hear His answers to our questions and requests. The Holy Spirit also helps us in difficult situations when we lack words and strength to pray. Thanks to Him, we can pray in spirit, in silence and concentration, giving our difficulties and worries to God.

In conclusion, throughout the video, we have highlighted five main aspects that happen when the Holy Spirit enters our lives, namely: The Holy Spirit gives us a new spiritual birth, The Holy Spirit begins to live and work in us, The Holy Spirit helps us understand the Bible, The Holy Spirit gives us spiritual experiences, the Holy Spirit helps us to pray from the heart.

There is no doubt that the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is of great importance. This allows us to better understand our spirituality and lead a life fully in accordance with God's will.

At the same time, it is a process that requires effort and commitment from us. We must spend time in prayer, scripture reading, and contemplation in order to take full advantage of the gifts that the Holy Spirit offers. However, thanks to his presence, we can enjoy a life full of hope, love, wisdom and pow

er, which is an amazing experience that we should not miss.

Does the Holy Spirit teach contradictory ideas to different people?
For example, if one person believes the Holy Spirit has taught them that baptism in water is an essential requirement for salvation and another person claims the same thing but says it’s not essential.
Are both correct because the Holy Spirit taught them?

For centuries, the Holy Spirit has been one of the most mysterious and fascinating concepts in Christianity. We all heard about him at school, during catechesis, or in church. But do we really understand who the Holy Spirit is and what amazing things He can do in our lives?

It's good to see a fellow Christian discussing the Holy Spirit. He's central to our Christian living!

Fascinating and mysterious? The Holy Spirit? No more, it seems to me, than God the Father, or Christ the Son.. The Bible offers much about the Holy Spirit, so he doesn't have to be "mysterious" to us.

The Holy Spirit is the presence of God in our lives

Well, it might be better, more accurate or precise, to say that the Holy Spirit is God.

His presence in our lives is something that is difficult to describe in words, but at the same time it changes everything.

I don't know...I don't have difficulty describing the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life. He acts in my life just like the Bible says he will: convicting me, teaching me, strengthening me, comforting me, and changing me (among other things). The tricky thing is distinguishing his work from a mere human, fleshly counterfeit of the same. Most Christians can't do this.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity who enters us to guide us, transform us and give us strength to fight sin. However, what exactly happens when the Holy Spirit enters our lives?

Hmmm...yes, but he is actually our very life (Colossians 3:4; John 4:16; Romans 8:9-16, etc.); he's not just improving who we are, but replacing who we are apart from God with a new life and character arising from himself (2 Corinthians 5:17).

You go on from here to describe the effects of being "born again" by the Holy Spirit, but this doesn't explain what it is to have a second, spiritual birth. When I describe the effects of having a child born into a family - dirty diapers, crying, slobbering, tired parents, pablum, milk bottles, etc. - I haven't actually explained what physical birth is, only the results of it.

I would suggest to you that understanding what the Spirit does in "birthing" us spiritually is very important to any discussion of his life and work in us. See: Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9-16; 2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, etc.

What is this "new life," exactly? Not the effects of this life, but the life itself; what is this life? How do we know for sure that we possess this "new life"?

But what exactly do we get in this new spiritual birth? First of all, we receive forgiveness of sins.

Um, I think you've got this backward. I don't get new, spiritual life, life in the Spirit, unless I am first forgiven by God. God's forgiveness of me is a necessary condition, a necessary predicate, of my being indwelt by the Holy Spirit. If I'm not forgiven by God and thus still in my sins, the Holy Spirit will not dwell in me. This forgiveness is obtained by trusting in the atoning work of Jesus on the cross for my sins by which he obtained God's forgiveness of my sins. See: 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 5:6-10; Ephesians 1:7; Matthew 26:28; Acts 5:31, etc.

Acts 2:38
38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

See? The order here is:

Repent: Change your mind about the Good News of Salvation in Jesus Christ.

Act: In demonstration of your change of mind concerning the Gospel, be baptized in water.

Receive: Upon being forgiven by God as a result of your faith in Christ as Savior and Lord, expressed in baptism, the Holy Spirit is given as gift.

Spiritual new birth is one of the greatest gifts we receive from God after receiving the Holy Spirit.

Well, I think the Bible indicates that our spiritual birth is our receiving the Holy Spirit, it doesn't follow after the Spirit indwelling us. In other words, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and our "second birth" are simultaneous, they are one-and-the-same thing. Reading on in your post, it's clear you understand this; you just didn't make this simultaneity clear here.

The moment the Holy Spirit enters us and we receive new life, it begins to live in us and work.

Not "it," he. The Bible always refers to the Spirit with the pronoun "he." The Spirit is not a thing, a force, or energy, right? He's a Person, as you've said in your posts.

The Holy Spirit also works in our relationships with others. It helps us to understand what our needs and those of others are and how to meet them in love.
It helps us to be patient, kind, and understanding with others, and it shows us how to speak and act in ways that bring love and peace

Again, in Scripture, the Holy Spirit is a "he" not an "it."

Also, the Holy Spirit doesn't merely help us, but he fills us increasingly with himself, overtaking who we are with who he is and thereby changing us so that our lives reflect him, producing the "fruit" of who he is (Galatians 5:22-23). This is very different from the Holy Spirit merely helping us to be better.

Anyway, you've written more than I have time to comment on right now. I appreciate you tackling this subject and, for the most part, you did fairly well. When you're talking God's Truth, though, I'd urge you to be as careful, as biblically-precise, as you can be.

When the Holy Spirit enters our lives, many amazing things happen.
like what?
One of them is that we receive spiritual experiences
what experiences?
that allow us to draw closer to God and deepen our faith. Spiritual experiences are different types of experiences that allow us to feel the presence of God and understand His will.
name the different kinds of experiences and describe how to "feel" the presence of God....is it goosebumps, cold sweats, chills, what do you mean exactly?
They can take many forms, from visions to feeling the presence of God in our lives.
Visions of what??? Again, what is that feeling exactly?

These experiences are very personal and each person can experience them in their own way.
Can anyone question these experiences? joseph Smith had experiences in his own way?
One of the most common spiritual experiences is the feeling of peace that arises in the heart of a person who gives himself to God.
Mormons say they feel a burning in the bosom, is that what you mean?
This is often accompanied by a sense of relief and inner joy that comes from believing in God and trusting in His plans for our lives. Another spiritual experience may be a vision or dream accompanied by messages from God.
Do you have specific examples of these additional messages from God?If they come from God, can you write them down and add them to the back of your bible?
They can be simple words of encouragement or specific guidelines that help us make the right decisions in life.
I have never read of this being something we should expect. What scripture indicates this to you?
Spiritual experiences can also result from our prayer. When we talk to God, we often feel His presence in our lives and we receive answers to our questions and requests.
Can you share examples of this? What questions did you have, and what answer were you given? was it an audible voice?

Some people also experience charisms, or gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as languages of prayer, healing, or prophecy.
I do not know of anyone who has these gifts, Do you have a few of these gifts, or all of them?
These gifts are given to us by the Holy Ghost so that we can serve others and help them in their faith. It is important to remember that spiritual experiences are not an end in themselves.
How do you know when they are not an end in themselves?
In conclusion, throughout the video, we have highlighted five main aspects that happen when the Holy Spirit enters our lives, namely: The Holy Spirit gives us a new spiritual birth, The Holy Spirit begins to live and work in us, The Holy Spirit helps us understand the Bible, The Holy Spirit gives us spiritual experiences, the Holy Spirit helps us to pray from the heart.
what video are you speaking about?

For centuries, the Holy Spirit has been one of the most mysterious and fascinating concepts in Christianity.
Rather trust Jesus for everything, as He is Lord, Judge, Savior, Truth and His Name is above every name in heaven and earth.
Simple Truth - Clean, Pure, not religious, not false, not in error, not warped, not even a spot nor a wrinkle......
