Object is to write a compelling story in just 53 words. Here's one of mine:

The door opened easily, although the house had clearly not been lived in for a long time. The couch was covered by a sheet as though someone had intended to protect that but nothing else.

Nothing ever changes. The house is always the same. Me? I must always return.

It will never end.

"The little stream runs down to the woods" the man said. "It wanders into the trees and never comes out again."

"But it does not end there." I said. "It continues on through the woods. It goes down through deep valleys. And then, it enters a great sea with things of transcendent beauty."

I haven't heard of this, but it might be worth a shot.
