7 Angels Of Revelations
-----------------------------------

Why are the 7 Angels of Revalation's important? First off I believe that many still believe that the Angels in Revalation's refer to churches, second there is one of many blatant attempts to portray Satan as the light a/k/a Lucifer.

When we examine the old testament or the KJV we will notice that Lucifer is mentioned only once and that is in:

Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

This same verse in the NIV reads:

Isa 14:12 How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!

Notice how the NIV portrays Lucifer as the Morning Star, Son of the Dawn. While the KJV portrays him as Lucifer which means Light Bringer. Associating Light with Satan contradicts everything else in the Bible because as we know Satan is Darkness.

Is it possible that the translation was wrong years ago? Or could Satan have been Lucifer before his fall from grace. This verse is open to interpretation. But the NIV translation goes even further then the KJV and this is important because this leaves a loophole for Satan to claim he is the Morning Star or Son of Dawn.

So where is Morning Star in the KJV? And the answer is it is in 2 places both in Revalations. The First place you will find Morning Star is in Revalation' s Chapter 2 Verse 28. I have included Chapter 2 verses 18-29 below. Because the whole section pertains to the Angel of Thyatira. And states clearly in these verses that the Angel of Thyatira will be given the Morning Star.

REV 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

And for comparison here is the NIV version:

REV 2:18 To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze.19 I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling.22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.24 Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan's so-called deep secrets (I will not impose any other burden on you):25 Only hold on to what you have until I come.26 To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations--27 He will rule them with an iron scepter; he will dash them to pieces like pottery'--just as I have received authority from my Father.28 I will also give him the morning star.29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

So what is the Morning Star? Well in order to understand what the Morning Star refers to we have to jump to the second place Morning Star appears in the KJV and that is the end of Revalation's Chapter 22 verse 16:

REV 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

By looking at this verse alone we can see now why Satan would Love to be associated with the Morning Star and light. So what does Revalation's 22:16 say in the NIV?

REV 22:16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.

The New International Version made only minor changes to this verse but at the same time contradicted itself when we compare it to Isaiah 14:12.

The point I am trying to make is this, that by researching this story you can see that the Devil/Satan has some plan for the Angel of Thyatira, this could just be to discredit the Angel of Thyratia or it could be to try and take his seat and keep him from testifying unto the churches.

We live in some wonderful times! Please do not take my word and do your own research, I can only give my interpretation just like any other man. I took the time to write this only as a warning and ask everyone to research this on your own and draw your own conclusions, and feel free to point out any mistakes you feel I may have made.

God Bless!

Something to consider, from threads long ago:

There is a reason for the morning star reference. It has a lot to do with astronomy and them calling planets, stars, for lack of not knowing about planets. Venus is known as the "morning star". Research the relationship between the king being spoken about in Isaiah 14 and Venus, this morning star.

Note this "star" is really a planet; a counterfeit star. ;)

a morning star

THE morning star. :D

Young's literal Translation Bible says:

12 How hast thou fallen from the heavens, O shining one, son of the dawn! Thou hast been cut down to earth, O weakener of nations.

"Lucifer" is a Latin term carried over from the Vulgate, that means "light-bearing" (both Strong's and Merriam-Webster are in agreement on this). This "morning light-bearer" is Venus and is a metaphor for the king in that passage. It is significant that Isa. 14:12 is the only place in all of Scripture that the word Lucifer is used, at least as a noun.
