Sir Francis was wrong.

While I think it is imperative to live a godly and holy life, no one will ever get saved just by looking at your lifestyle. You must open your mouth and tell them the Gospel. There are no examples in Scripture of anyone getting saved simply by watching the lifestyle of another. The most that your life will do is cause someone to wonder why you are different. In that aspect, hopefully, they'll ask you why you're different. Then you can tell them the Gospel.

Romans 10:15 says is all, "And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things."

Brother Ian is correct

After some 35 years of witnessing experience has taught me that brother Ian is right. In most open our mouths otherwise we have no effective witness!!!!
