I hope this bible reading I had this morning gives you as much as it did me. Yes, The Joy of the Lord Is Your Strength
Nehemiah 8-9. That's why I'm sending it, because I'm hoping to make your day better. And, an amazing thing happened! While doing this bible study, for you, I found out exactly why, those who did not help the poor, will be cast into the Lake of Fire! See Matt. 25:34-46, and then read the Proverbs 19:17. It just opens up the whole meaning of why we have poor people!! That's a whole bible study itself!
And, so does the study of JOY! Joy gives us strength to keep on, to perservere, to never give up. Joy comes from studying the Bible. The KJV. Yes, I will say that till the day I die. The KJV.
Look for JOY, in these verses. I have said a prayer and asked God to give everyone who reads this, His wisdom, and His joy, and His strength.
Acts 20:26: Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am 1pure from the blood of all men.
27: For I have not shunned to declare unto you all 2the counsel of God.
28: 3Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which 4the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, 5which he hath purchased with his own blood.
29: For I know this, that after my departing 6shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30: Also 7of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
31: Therefore watch, and remember, that 8by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
32: And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and 9to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you 10an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
33: 11I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
34: Yea, ye yourselves know, 12that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
35: I have shewed you all things, 13how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said,14. It is more blessed to give than to receive.
36: And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.
In my bible, which I just LOVE, I have cross references, and, when I turn to THOSE verses, the meaning of the text has MORE meaning.
Cross reference systems lead you from one Bible passage to another passage dealing with the same person, place, word, or theme. This allows you to follow the first rule of Bible study: interpret Scripture with Scripture.
