I have to tell them the date and they approve it.90 days is all they need.
The decision is based on that my unit will move to about 200 miles away.so to stay in I would pay more then I get and or stay and take a demotion to e4 ,or find the other openings at my rank and still travel just to keep my rank.thus not worth it.3 months isn't all that long. I know the decision wasn't necessarily easy...then again, it probably wasn't all that difficult, all things considered.

Drive ,not move.I don't need the pay as much as I need the insurance but well I consolidated debt under a loan and its just now me giving them the day. Then it was an easy enough decision. That would be quite a move as well as a big hit on the finances.
Btw this was an infantry unit first them will be one again.there's a book going back to ww2 with photos of the units of the brigade and I don't know which brigade it was.it was one of the 4 units that trained at Blanding .I will ask for it and give it to the Blanding Museum .it has alot of old photos and men who trained there and locations on Blanding.

I glanced at it years ago then after my learning about Blanding history looked in it again and noticed the ranges and places in the photos.I'm sure the Museum would definitely appreciate the book!
