Am I wrong to view scripture as God's revealed word to humanity through history, peoetry, letters and instructions?

The scripture is revealed to Gods elect, not to humanity, though it contains information about humanity..

some of humanity belong to the seed of the devil gen 3:

15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy[ satan] seed and her seed[ Jesus christ]; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

This seed of satans, has no interest in redemption, only the seed of the women he enslaved when eve sinned..

the scripture is to bring the seed of the women to faith that is in christ Jesus 2 tim 3:

15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Those whom Jesus shall save from their sins as in matt 1:

21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

not the seed of the satan, but his people from their sins..

Beloved57,
I believe that the above texts are referring to YHVH's elect.

I do to..

What I am interested in here is what is God's purpose for his elect? Why would YHVH care about the Gentiles if they were not his elect

all of Gods elect, from adam till the last conversion on earth and the dissolving of this wicked world, the grand design of Gods elect is to conform them to the image of the 2nd adam..

rom 8:

28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

The elect have born the image of the earthly adam, now God it will be to bear the image of Jesus christ in our total glotification with him..

1 cor 15:

49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

This is Gods purpose for election..for the praise and honor of Jesus christ..

I see beloved. Thank you for clarifying your position.

Well then, lets see if I have this right.

You, like 3rddayuprising aka Sonship37 share an affinity toward a particular theology dubbed the Serpent Seed theology based on Genesis 3:15. I'm sorry, I view Genesis 3:16 through covenant theology where Genesis 3:15 is viewed as the Proto Gospel.

While you do not consider me your brother, I forgive you anyway.

Now then, let me see if I can ask you the same question, as you still have not addressed my question in light of the scripture I posted.

What I am interested in here is what is God's purpose for his elect? Why would YHVH care about the Gentiles if they were not his elect

Now then, your rhetoric has not answered my question, unless you believe that YHVH does not care about the Gentiles.

Tell me know, does God care about the Gentiles, or does your theology hold that the gentiles (non elect) are of Satan's seed and although they are destine for hell, what purpose do they hold in relation to the elect?

I'll be interested in hearing your response.

you are ignoring a very important truth in understanding salvation, the seed of the serpent and the seed of the women are crucial..

What I am interested in here is what is God's purpose for his elect

I already gave you my answer for that, here it is one more time..rom 8:

29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

To be conformed to the image of His Son..

God cares and Loves all His elect, both Jews and gentiles..

Thank you for your honesty. I suppose we'll just have to disagree in our theology.

Now then, let me ask; what does it look like here, now, to be conformed to the image of His Son?

What impact would that have on those not predestined, here, now?

Agreed.
But I have to ask; in your theology, does God care and love those not of the elect? If so, why. If not, why not?

Beloved57:
"No disrespect steve, but i dont consider you a brother in christ, in fact i see you as an adversary to the truth.."

GE:
No, no,no! This is not the way a Christian should argue. Even do your opponent hold to 'free-will' the fact cannot make God not to have chosen him. What contrast this is with that earlier post of yours! Do not harm your own cause like this! I am convinced God has many chosen from among them who do not understand election. "The election of God is sure", God knowing those who are His" --- the wonderful thing about this absolute truth, is that it is against all odds from human side, despite any shortcomings in the elect themselves. Therefore, No one who deems himself an elect has the right or would have the audacity, to refuse as his 'brother in Christ', any who confess Christ the Saviour of his soul!
