I’m cooking more. I made a simple dish…penne pasta with a cream sauce I adapted from an online recipe…

And took it over to my parents house . They enjoyed it, dad said it was simple and good .

Didn’t take long and it helped me with basic cooking skills such as spicing and proper use of corn starch to thicken cream sauce etc…

And they are pleased .

I praise God for His love and mercy…

Glad to hear you are doing well. The dish sounds tasty. I have just been to an Italian restaurant recently. I ordered penne alla vodka. In general I like cooking and baking a lot, it is relaxing and you have the finished product of your effort. I'm glad your parents liked it. All the best, Mare

It's going fine, thank you for asking The weather is getting much nicer here so I get outside more. The trees and flowers are nice and blooming so I go to this park near my house and take a lot of pictures.

That's nice. We have some flowers planted in front of the building, but they are maintained by the management. I do buy some narcissus flowers in vases. I might post some of my photos if I get some time. Have a good rest of your weekend.

Dads getting routine blood work soon. Mama is to celebrate by making a hot version of potato salad that involves bacon . Lots and lots of bacon . I’m invited…

More importantly when I take a step back I see God at work in my life and my parents lives. I think they believe but they’ve been burned by church people and a whole subset of people who know Bible verses but lack basic human decency. Ugh
