A hard decision

Deciding to put my faith in the god of the bible was fraught with trouble at the beginning. I had to decide through all the religions and christian churches claiming the truth. I had to decide through christians back biting and fighting each other at every turn. I had to decide through fundemental believers and being bible bashed every day. I had to decide through the illumination of science giving christians no place to escape or run. l had to decided through my mental illness and all my addictions. I had to decide through knowing that god has killed children and made some very strange rules. I had to decide through never seeing one miracle or my belief ever heal me.

Yes it was a very hard decision to make.

Sounds like a usual thing. Remember Yahweh says there's no excusable reason to deny Him.

Chose by God - Act 9:15 But the Lord said unto him (The Apostle Paul), Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me,

The mission - . . . to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

The life of ease - Act 9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
2Co 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
2Co 11:24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
2Co 11:25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
2Co 11:26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
2 Cor 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Prayer always answered –
2Co 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
2Co 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2Co 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
