I have been pondering all the news lately.
From the Covid quarantine to politics and now the George Floyd tragedy.
In each of these above instances I have seen something.
Now lets review for a minute what Locusts do.
They swarm over any bit of "food" or growing thing.
Literally hundreds to thousands of them.
It is impossible to destroy them because individual locusts aren't the problem...its the whole swarm.
They all buzz and make a lot of noise.
They don't really provide any benefit...they only destroy.
The News Media have been exactly all these things. Every last one of them have shaded the truth for the intent and purpose of inciting strong emotions in people causing them to react with violence and rage. From the non-stop coverage of politics to creating a racism problem out of whole cloth.
Their counter argument is that they simply report the news. And nothing could be further from the truth. They are creating the news.
Lets give an example.
The BBC relates a story about how ancient Israelites used Marijuana in temple worship.
and anybody reading this article would be led to believe that God had ordained getting high at the Temple.
The Haaratz Newspaper when reporting the information explains that this was a temple similar in some ways to the one in Jerusalem and that its destruction was part of the reforms that Hezekiah had instituted because it's use was a blend of worship of God and foreign gods. IOW Hezekiah stopped all worship of anyone but God...the Israelites had been in an apostate stage as often in their history before the first exile.
So...where the BBC article is partially true...its deliberately misleading.
Then the same can be applied to the latest George Floyd tragedy. Despite the real facts that have come out recently (17 year relationship, previous drug abuse, poor health, narcotic use, Autopsy Report, quick paramedic arrival, and George fighting) the media has promoted this as some kind of racial inequality and abuse to the point that some have found this as a handy excuse for rioting and looting...causing extra government expense when most Governments are stretched tight because of the Pandemic.
The Pandemic....
Where the virus is real. The damage that the virus does to many who catch this horrible virus the media has exploited every area of outbreak. When they are not trying to scare people to death they are talking about how wasted the whole quarantine is to where again people form demonstration rallies. But lets look at Italy...originally they were overwhelmed with the sick from the virus. But as they actually went into quarantine and people died or got well their level of contagion is about on par with the rest of the world that is practicing quarantine measures and wearing face masks. New York's response (which was horribly late) to the pandemic has been highly political...and political rhetoric has been reported as actually being factual. Making the truth almost impossible to find. What is known to be true is that they have a super high level of contagion because of the public transportation system. The Highest in the World.
The Impeachment
The non-stop outlandish rhetoric of what was being said and repeated so drown out the facts that for months...and for many today...no one really knows why congress bothered to Impeach the President. Pertinent details as in Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How that would affect the the candidates of this year's election are absolutely being ignored in favor of repeating rhetoric. Meaning that no one is going to know anything about the candidates running for office. And nothing but just a handful of people will actually be able to make an informed choice about who they might actually want to vote for if they do vote.
This is the destruction of the American Population by a slow starvation of needed information and replacing it with nothing but opinion and half truths.
