After some thought about what selfishness is, what people do with it, and why people entertain it, I think that selfishness is some form...of insanity.
Now, firstly, I of course, am selfish to a degree. I don't think anyone could honestly answer otherwise.
Now, I may just happen to know some people that are selfish, and mentally ill. I definately think it is possible for one to be driven mad by selfishness. Just some people that I may know seem...like that.
The desire to constantly please one's self....it must be straining upon one's mind. It must seem to be a good thing, maybe, to do as much as possible for one's self. Greed, for one's pleasure, could it be something good, ever? Is that the primary cause of sin? What is a person without selfishness? Is the desire to please one's self insanity, can it become insanity?
Just opinions and ramblings.....Opinions please.....
