A Saint

Nah, they cancelled that show decades ago...

The_Saint_titlecard.jpg

All joking aside, a saint is one who believes God and submits to his current covenant. In the Old Testament, a saint was in covenant with God under the Old Covenant. Today under the New Covenant. Human traditions / man building a religion out of truth indicate otherwise.

If you believe in Jesus Christ, look in the mirror... voila! A saint.

You know the term, saint, these days, has several meanings, one of the meanings being: good or perfect or helper; something used to qualify someone. A girl to a boy or a boy to a girl word too.

however, today, in our modern Christianity, the words seems impious when used to address someone in our world today. St Classik! You see that.

seems the world has journeyed down the path of antiquity

One of the erroneous human interpolations of the term "saint" is (typically Protestant) the interpretation that a saint is an old covenant saint only (so they can impose upon the Bible their beliefs that the saints in the New Testament who suffer persecution are Jews and not Christians). For example:

Revelation 13:5–10 (AV)
5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Well the Roman Catholics have said a long time that it requires a vote from the Senate (er, I mean Cardinals), and some proof that you did a miracle. God it seems is a lot less harsh.

Well. My Catholic friend once told me that, you know someone as a saint after the person dies, and after a type of flower grows and shoots up from the person's tomb. Kind of, you can't tell by merely looking at the person that someone is a saint - until the person dies and the flowers shoots out from the grave
