Attention wives and moms. Here is our moment of reflection as God put it on my heart today. Heavily.
"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'" – from Isaiah 6:8 See, the profeta Isaiah's encounter with God was life-changing. In an instant, he saw God’s holiness, his own unworthiness, and the incredible grace of cleansing. When God asked, “Who will go?” Isaiah’s heart responded with readiness—“Send me!” This call is not just for prophets of old, but for us today as well. Now, as women, we may wonder if God can use us to proclaim His truth in a world that often silences our voices. Yet, throughout Scripture, we see women like Esther, Deborah, Mary Magdalene, and Priscilla boldly stepping into their divine calling. God designed us with a unique blend of strength and tenderness, boldness and compassion—qualities that make us powerful messengers of His Gospel. See, our femininity is not a hindrance to our calling; it is a God-given gift. We have the ability to nurture, to communicate deeply, and to reflect God’s love in ways that reach hearts in profound ways. Whether through teaching, writing, mothering, or serving, our voices matter in the proclamation of truth. So, it's like with the prophet Isaiah, God is calling us today: “Whom shall I send?” May we answer with the same willing heart—"Here I am, Lord. Send me!" No matter our background, what sin you may have done, your current status, or fears, God has chosen us to be bearers of His truth. Let us step forward with courage, knowing that He who calls us is faithful. Amen! So ladies of the King, how can you use your God-given gifts, even your femininity to share the Gospel in your sphere of influence? Don't be afraid to be a woman of the King of Kings.
