Women are so obsessed when it comes to the issue of security.
Marital security ( does my husband love another woman?)
Financial security
Protection from danger

You can mention more!

O woman, your name is obsession

I tend to think about it more in the terms of "strength".

Strength of character, morals, ideals, body and the like.

What a woman prefers is individual and changing constantly. Meh, they're women.

Well, I'm woman,
My security comes from God not man.

Well you're an exception to the rule.

You bring the world total up to seven, of women wise enough to look to God instead of worldly illusion...

Hi Edward
I have had a rough life.
Seen prosperity, seen poor.
Heartaches, happiness, as us all.
But never have I counted on man for my security, because I know that God has carried me through each one of them.

Good day

Life is uncertainty, and there is really nothing secure about it.
Everything, (outside of knowing God), related to human earthly existence<> experience , is temporal.... as everything changes.
The only certainty found here is that we are born to die.... and that Jesus is The Truth and God is Love and Salvation is free, and that we can count on God to get us through.
At some point in every life, every person will want some security in life and will try to have it, and they will try to keep it once they do.
The only way to have it, is to have a strong and intimate relationship with God through Christ, as its God and God alone who can change every bad and insecure situation into a solid and strong foundation, as He<>Jesus is the security.
Its God and God<>Jesus alone who can change every wrong into a right, every bad into a good, and every broken heart into a deep well of Joy.

Amen, Sister. I'm learning to not count on man (trust them). It blows my mind that not anyone is trustworthy, even family, but there it is, in scripture...

I wish I was wise and didn't have to learn the hard way...:wall

edward when you do a job send the billing to God :)

Hmmm. Interesting...I already have concluded that I'm not working for the customer, the job is unto God...

But...billing God? Uhhh, I wouldn't know where to begin. Worldly rates? I'd be scared to do that. Kingdom rates? No clue...Free? Uhhh, I need more faith for that...

You know how to put a guy out of business fast, lol

:confused

I am very thankful to our Lord for the blessing of having a husband who supported his family... i was blessed to be a stay at home mom when the kids were young.. IMO God provided the security via a job for the breadwinner.

Amen Reba
I have worked two jobs at once before the kids came.
My husband and childhood sweetheart, my best friend, worked construction.
When the job is done, you get laid off until the next job.
Knowing this, we bought some land, sold lots , and kept some for ourselves.
We took the money from the lots, and built our own home, by our own hands, electrical, plumbing and all.
God helped us.
So when I got pregnant with my first child, I stayed home, remained home until this day.
God blessed us, with a home paid for, thus, we both agreed to raise our kids, no strangers.
Through the years, during his lay offs, we struggled.
If we had to, we would eat pinto beans, greens and cornbread for supper.
God always supplied somehow, through others or chance.
I loved staying home with my kids, I even volunteered in school when they attended.
Just found out ,me , going to be grandma, lol.
Then lost my Mom, in August.
With life's ups and downs, no man could give me security, God does.

Lovely story of Gods caring... :)
YUP construction for us too... lots of biscuits with no meat gravy! ... LOL
Raising ones own kids :thumbsup
