A young engineer graduated with his masters degree and an ego to match the title. He demanded respect everywhere he went, especially to the uneducated/undereducated commoners. He was visiting a site one day that was fenced off with a sign that read: DO NOT ENTER. He was crossing the fence when an old farmer told him that he couldn’t go out in the field. He laughed and said, “oh yes I can.” The farmer reminded him he couldn’t to which he demanded the farmer look at his badge which showed his masters degree and credentials. The farmer shrugged his shoulders and leaned back against his old farm truck. Within minutes you could hear the high pitch screams and screeches of the overconfident young engineer as he ran for his life. A bull was chasing him as he shouted at the farmer, “help!” The farmer just smiled and shouted, “show him your credentials son.”

The devil doesn’t care about your “credentials” he however fears a praying saint. You may not feel qualified or educated enough, but don’t forget Christ called “common” men to make into disciples. Study to show yourself approved, but education can’t replace the anointing or the call.
