[__ Prayer __] Abandoned Baby :(

One of the basketball players at my college had a baby the other night and abandoned it with a local high school teacher, and has disappeared. I'm sure she's with family, but she's obviously in need of serious counseling. We have a very small campus, only about 600 students, and there are ample resources for help available, as it is a Christian college. It is distressing that this girl felt she had no options and has just abandoned her child. Please pray for the child and for the mother also, that she will get the help she needs, both emotionally and spiritually.

Father, please help the mother through this horrible time. I'm sure she is very distraught. Please bring her to her senses... and back to YOU.

Please let this child be in loving hands and well cared for, and not resented. Give the child godly parents and a good life.
