[__ Science __ ] Abortion Discriminates Against the Disabled

Many people think that it’s perfectly acceptable to allow for the abortion of disabled children in the womb simply because of their disability.

Then what we need is resources for people with disable children. Considering that societies run off incentives, we need to incentivize people to raise their children. Special needs children are expensive due to medical, treatment, accommodations, and extra care.

Considering that churches function like a government, we would need churches to organize into creating programs for these special needs individuals and families. Care facilities, helping with bills, helping to educate, helping with research to accommodate disorders. etc.

Stopping abortion would only make it that special needs people exist, but doesn't help them or address why people choose to get the abortion in the first place. The largest reason abortion happens is due to the perceived and real consequences of having children. The financial burden and responsibility is high. So to combat that we would have to address those concerns.

Otherwise the special needs people are only just being used as a tool to guilt people into not liking abortion, but no actual help or care is being afforded to them.
