[__ Science __ ] According to this Reddit poster animals don't feel hatred only humans feel hatred

I disagree even if animals don't feel hatred they don't all love each other come on let's get back to reality here.

That's correct. Anyone who is actually paying attention knows animals both love and hate. All species, whether it is easy to read or not. My dog loves me, but he can't stand the neighbors across the street. Absolutely abhors them and will growl under his breath every time anyone or anything comes out of that house. There was an incident with their dog a long time ago, and he bit it and I had to pay for their vet bill to get her dog fixed up, and ever since that day he despises them.

They're nice people, and I like them a lot. He hates their guts.

I would have to look fully into it, but I think the poster might have just not been thorough. Other animals can be mean or compasi9nate, but the level and understanding seems to be unique to Hominids that even The pongos aren't as sophisticated. Hatred is a complex emotion and most animals Don't seem to have as complex of an emotional range to be on the same level of human hatred.

What would be an example of humans expressing hatred at a more complex level than animals ?

Willow, my dog has that problem. She hates to bark at any dog or cat she sees at home. At the dog park she plays with them.

Well sounds like she has the opposite problem to mine, cuz he hates anything that walks outside this house. But it goes to point. Just like humans, some dogs have a hard time hating anybody.

A little video I sent a friend recently, on a somewhat common theme.

My willow does hate that. Hair raises, snarls and growls. I call it showing her white chest, puffing up. That cat or dog would tear her up.

At the park she did try to chase all. Only one dog she couldn't catch and that was a grey hound.

Hatred is us humans having a mental concept of another person or others that involves intention and projections.

Most other animals can show rage, but outright hatred not so much.
