Ministries that accept public money must keep a strict accounting of all moneys coming in and a strict accounting as how that money was spent. All churches should periodically(no longer than six months) publishes and distributes this information to the congregation.
Now in our own little ministry my friends and I do not accept money. However when someone tries to give it to us anonymously we choose to give that amount money to another ministry. The ministry we choose to give to is called "SET FREE MINSTRY" which is a prison ministry that educates by study lessonS for the prisoners. All of which is free to the prisoners. The postage alone for this ministry runs about $3000 a month. My friends and I are so thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ that we are in a position financially not to need outside funding.
We thank the area of accountability for the churches is one of the areas where the world bad mouths church minstries. Many time with legitimacy in their complaints.
