Acts 7:45 clearly states "Jesus" brought up the ark into the possession post Egypt!

I was doing my usual sha-bath reading when, once again, I came across these interesting verses.

Stephen in his defense before the Pharisees and Sadducees rehearses the story:

Act 7:44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

Act 7:45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
This is what all the new testament prophets were trying to tell the world, when they spoke of the angel, that Moses said, was to guide them into the promise land.

Stephen's quote:
Act 7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.
Act 7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and [with] our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:
Act 7:39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust [him] from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

Paul's quote:
Act 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
Act 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Act 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
Act 3:23 And it shall come to pass, [that] every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
Act 3:24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
Joshua/Yahsha is the Christ!

Joshua/Yahsha is the Christ!

Jesus is the Christ.

Joshua and Jesus are used interchangeably as seen in this Passage -

8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. Hebrews 4:8 NKJV

8 For if Jesus had given them rest , then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. Hebrews 4:8 KJV

The context is clearly referring to Joshua in the Old testament.

Jesus in the Hebrew is Yahowshuwa`which is also Joshua.

I already know Jesus and Joshua mean the same thing. The point is, Joshua and Jesus are the same person. Who's Joshua the son of Josedech, crowned king and high priest post Babylon?

So far we have been comparing Joshua, who led the children of Israel into the promised land and Jesus Christ.

Now you are introducing another Joshua, who is different from the Joshua you mentioned in Acts 7:45 -

45 which our fathers, having received it in turn, also brought with Joshua into the land possessed by the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of David... Acts 7:45

Joshua who was high priest post Babylon -

1 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.

This Joshua is not Jesus.

Jesus is described as The Angel of the Lord in this scripture.

If you can't explain the significance of a Levite crowned king and high priest post Babylon, you will never understand scripture. It's a small thing to overlook such a major fact. The stone the builders refuse is the Joshau stone.

The OT Joshuas were prophetic symbolic types for Christ, but they are not the person of Christ. This is Bible 101.:readbible

3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel. 4 Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from him." And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes." Zechariah 3:3-4

Zec 6:9 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Zec 6:10 Take of [them of] the captivity, [even] of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;
Zec 6:11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set [them] upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;
Zec 6:12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name [is] The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
Zec 6:13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
The counsel of peace was between Joshua and Zerubbabel, the would be king who became the governor of Shalem post Babylon

Either Stephen butchered the OT texts he attempted to quote or Luke made some stuff up.
That's because you're refusing the stone the builders refused, the Joshua stone.

11 Take the silver and gold, make an elaborate crown, and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. 12 Then speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: "Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, And He shall build the temple of the Lord; 13 Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, And shall sit and rule on His throne; So He shall be a priest on His throne, And the counsel of peace shall be between them both." ' 14 "Now the elaborate crown shall be for a memorial in the temple of the Lord for Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Hen the son of Zephaniah. 15 Even those from afar shall come and build the temple of the Lord. Then you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. And this shall come to pass if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God." Zechariah 6:11-15

This is a prophecy of the One who would come. He is a reference to the BRANCH, not Joshua, the one who had to change his filthy garments and had to be cleansed from his iniquities.

This Joshua
is a type and a shadow of Him who knew no sin.

Some interesting verses:
Eze 21:24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, [I say], that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.

Eze 21:26 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this [shall] not [be] the same: exalt [him that is] low, and abase [him that is] high.
Eze 21:27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no [more], until he come whose right it is; and I will give it [him].
This is referring to the last Jewish king pre-Babylon, Zedekiah. Joshua is crowned king and high priest post Babylon! Why is the crown given to him?

Jer 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
Jer 23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this [is] his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Jer 23:7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
Jer 23:8 But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
The north country has always biblically been Babylon! Who is Joshua the son of Josedec, and Joshua the son of Nun?

Reading comprehension is important.

Zechariah (Zec 6:9-15) is told by God to tell Joshua son of Josedech to behold 'the Man' of whom messianic promises are made which 'shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God'. Clearly 'the Man' is not Joshua son of Josedech. If he were then there would have been no need for Jesus of Nazareth. Instead he is a prophetic type for Jesus in which we see his human failings rectified in and through the person of Jesus Christ.
