I am working for a Christian Shakespeare camp for middle school and high school students, and one of my duties as a staffer is to provide a 15 minute devotion in the morning. This morning will be my fourth devotion day.

Over the week, I've been focusing on the idea of imagination in the Bible—particularly in creation. But my devotions have been a bit scattered. I decided to do the Lectio Divina meditation method on two different psalms, and I also showed them a video clip of Louie Giglio's famous sermon on Laminin. (I tied this in with the idea of God's imagination in his creation of people.)

But I've been unsatisfied with my devotions. They feel flat, and I never feel certain how to guide the discussions. I'm in a somewhat dry place spiritually right now, so it's hard for me to translate my innate faith into a coherent and meaningful discussion.

But I do love Psalm 15. Does anyone have a good devotion or a good video that relates to Psalm 15?

From what you described it sounds like you might be from a Catholic background. As long as you don't mind a Protestant commentary you might like Charles Spurgeon's book The Treasury of David which gives in-depth commentary on every Psalm. You can read it for free online (it is in the public domain since it was written in the 1800s). Here is the one for Psalm 15: Treasury of David—Psalm 15. The Explanatory Notes and Quaint Sayings section has the commentary. Charles Spurgeon was an excellent preacher and student of Scripture and I hope some of his insights can be helpful to you.

I hope that helps! And welcome to christianforums.net!

God Bless,
