It is true, and primarily in the matter of prayer.I heard somewhere, I do not remember, that makes this statement:
What we do in the physical affects the spiritual realm.
Is this true?
I'm not sure if this should go here, but,

Most Believers walk in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Ephesians 4:17-18We must remember flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom of God (spiritual realm). The scripture says that God only rewards righteousness by Faith in Christ and His Finished work. Therefore a Believers Faith must be maintain exclusively in Christ and the Cross, i.e., Finished work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus. The Holy Spirit only works and help us within these parameters.
The worlds philosophy is reason, which deals with facts (flesh and blood). The Kingdom of God philosophy is Faith, which deals with Truth (spiritual realm)...we only agree with the Word of God.
While He did say that, walking humbly with Him means something much more now than what it did then. One cannot walk with the Father if they don't accept His Son.As to your question, Ive heard it asked why in torah so little is said about an afterlife. Is because whats most important is what we do today. Yehovah said all that He requires of us is to do good, love justice and walk humbly with Him.
When God said this, people were sacrificing humans in the attempt to get YHVH to once again make His face shine upon them. But such attempt did nothing other than provoke Him to demand they stop such evil and to remind them that all He ever requires of us is to do good, love justice and walk humbly with YHVH.
Show me where God contradicts Himself and says I now need to believe that a human sacrifice will cause Him look upon us again?
Leviticus 26 is I think very explicit in regards how to walk with Him.

well, you exist to manifest, and you have a choice; essentially to manifest Light, or Darkness; and it is you who will reap what you sow, God's only unbreakable rule. There are no others, that i have found in Scripture yet. That is the only rule that you cannot break.I'm not sure if this should go here, but,
