all the doubt fills my mind the lord god

Pray for clarity of mind and for God to remove all doubt. Having doubts is a human thing and can be common with us. Consider this. If Jesus was with you in the flesh today and you were actually watching Him heal the sick, give sight to the blind, give hearing to the deaf and speech to mute, repair physical deformities, cure chronic illnesses and diseases, calm wind and storm, and even raise dead people from death back to life would you have doubts then? It might be easy to say, "Absolutely not!"

Well, His disciples did! Even His cousin, John the Baptist, the one who prepared the way for Him and declared that He was the Lamb of God and that He was so much greater than he that he was unworthy to even untie His sandals did! Here are some examples from Scripture.
  • John the Baptist doubted while he was in prison sending his disciples to ask Jesus if He really was the Coming One. See Matthew 11:1-3 or Luke 7:18-19.
  • Peter doubted even while in the act of walking on water of all things. See Matthew 14:25-32.
  • Peter doubted when Jesus was arrested by denying even knowing Him. See Luke 22:54-62 or any of the other gospels.
  • Philip doubted when Jesus told him that He and the Father are one. See John 14:7-11.
  • All of His disciples doubted and abandoned Jesus when He was arrested. See Matthew 26:47-56 or Mark 14:43-50.
  • All of His disciples doubted when they heard that He had risen. Mark 16:9-11 or Luke 24:1-11.
  • Thomas doubted when he heard Jesus rose from the dead. See John 20:24-28.
  • Some of His disciples even doubted after Jesus arose and actually appeared to them in the flesh. Matthew 28:16-17.

There is nothing wrong with doubts or questions, so long as you are seeking and accepting answers.

It is extremely arrogant to assume that one has doubts or questions that no one else has had.
Rather accept that there answers to your doubts and question, all you have to do is find them.
