OK, so we're your average mid-sized American baptist church. A few hundred peeps fit in our chapel, and we run 2 services. Like a lot of places we use a computer/projector system to throw the words for songs and verses. 2 screens in front for the congregation, 1 screen in the rear for the choir/praise band.
Well, Sunday, the rear screen projector decided to konk out on us ... as in, doesn't even turn on konk on.
Imagine the scurring about the choir room acquiring the hymnals and marking pages so we can find things. Discovered 3 of the songs were in one hymnal, but everyone was positive they'd remember the words to "How Great thou Art" so we didn't have to carry 2 hymnals and the sheet music for the choir song.
It almost worked.
Our one flub was getting the verse order wrong on How Great thou Art.
Hopefully they get the projector working by next Sunday ...
