An attractive partner draws you to Christianity?

If that is an example of their reasoning, far easier than you think.
The bible only says that one snake ever spoke.
That's one too many for such a person.

Why not ask them to disprove Christianity!
To show that Jesus never rose from the dead.
Because it's not up to them to disprove it. They're simply saying they don't believe the claim that Christianity is making about Jesus rising from the dead. At that point, it is the responsibility of the Christian making the claim to provide evidence.

The thing is, there's no physical evidence left for us to examine. The Christian is an impossible position. They usually fall back on "you just have to have faith". Which, while a true statement, is a very poor argument to the unbeliever who's looking for tangible evidence for what is, at the end of the day, a supernatural claim.

Remember this is an issue of eternal importance, well worth having a few arguments.
I agree.

That is the position of an ignorant uneducated Christian.
Lee Strobel, James Warner Wallace, Dr G. Habbermas are just three Christian your minister should have introduced to you.
All three talk about the histo facts that Christianity is based on.
Because it's not up to them to disprove it.
No if she says a snake or donkey in the bible didn't talk then they have to prove it.
They raised this as an issue why they don't believe.

Other issues, ask where there belief in equality comes from? ( Christianity )
Where the value of the individual come from? ( Christianity )

They don't believe the claim that's being made. If someone doesn't believe the earth is flat because of contrary evidence, they dont have to prove it to the person making the claim. The burden of proof lies with the one making the claim.

If that were true, we never would have made it to the present. People believed in these things before Christianity even existed.

Sorry not true.
Greeks believed in democracy for the freemen of Athens, they did not believe that all men were equal.
Ditto Romans.
Most laws made distinctions between classes of people, valuing them according to class.

The bible has the most antiquities and manuscripts in the world. There are thousands manuscripts and there are scrolls (not just dead sea scrolls from 1947). There are 5,800 fragments (puzzle pieces). Jesus is proven to be a historical figure or secular scholars would look uneducated. Many people in the bible are also historical people that secular scholars agree. The disciples didn't just become martyred for anyone. Why would they want that. The bible can hold under scrutiny. There are codexes. With so many thousands of manuscripts and scrolls, fragments one can easily see spelling errors. 99.5% is actually incredible. People used to say the hitties were made up until they found them in turkey. Not all the bible is literal. There are logical answers when people really want it. It's their own sins that blind them. Abide in christ. There is so much information. I don't know why, but some people don't want to admit they aren't perfect or not in control. Why would they not want forgiveness and Jesus. They are just angry, bitter and feel like they have to have control when really they have no power to even control the weather ect. God chose the foolish things (in their view) to Shame the wise. People think it's nonsense to have a savior. They have a false world view. Noone can change or fix anyone. The most important thing is how one relates with Jesus, but God is God. Energy can not be created or destroyed. And because Jesus walked the earth we know we are made in his image. Only the holy spirit can change someone. We cB give them assistance, but we can not choose for them. Side note: I believe in the shroud, but if someone doesn't it is okay. It doesn't change anything about the bible or Jesus ❤️

There are still being findings today in archaeology, but I know that stuff people don't like because of world views. Historical documents speak for themselves and if all of it was burned it could never take away from the holy spirit. His word will not return void just as it says and just how it has done
