Genesis 1
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Check this out.

that could be used to prove the big bang.

I'm sure you're not the first person to say that. It actually took a bit of searching to find that piece of video without scientists mentioning the origins of life and whatnot. Atheists are going to act like atheists.

What I see when I watch that video are the wonders of God. "The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters", He spoke and there was light. The elements obeyed the sound of His voice. Instead of proving the big bang, what it does is lend credence to the first 3 verses in the bible.

That's how I see it anyway.

not that I disagree, but with origin theories its not the facts that are bad, just how we interpret them.ie a dinosaur fossil can be used for creationism or the toe.

That's amazing i mean to us its amazing what must God have in store for his creation when he's done away with the things we see.. after Jesus comes and things start fresh..

I Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him..

tob

*edit: forgot something "again"

Proverbs 3:19 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

Oh it will be amazing all right.Beyond our wildest dreams. :)

John 8:12 Jesus said, "I am the light of the world"... It's theological brothers and sisters.

Colossians 1:16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

That was interesting. It made me think that, maybe we should be careful what comes out of our mouth. There is power in the spoken word.
i didn't see what your replying to here.
but, as Yhvh's Word says - Life and Death is in the tongue. rivers of living water (life-enhancing or life-giving) flow from the innermost beings of the ecclesia...... but like the other 'gifts', don't seek the 'rivers'; seek totally the Creator Abba Yhvh. He'll handle everything else.
(contrary-wise; on the other hand; ) if someone is angry at his brother without cause, he is guilty of murder. (i can't remember where this is written, so check carefully); and woe to the one who (through harsh or evil words, or other?) takes the light out of a child's eyes.

I was responding to the video. :)
Everything in life and death is in the tongue. Taking that a step further...what are words before we speak them but thoughts? God spoke the universe into existence, but before He spoke, He thought about it. So it is with us also. Which is also why we shall be judged upon our very thoughts. Remember? If a man looks upon a woman with lust in his heart, he is guilty of adultery. So there you have it. The bible is clear on this. It says, think on these things, don't think on those things...Pretty clear.

I know the scripture you speak of. You're right about that too. I once had a guy (who angered me with cause) try to tell me this scripture, lol. He just wouldn't get it though that he gave me a cause. I have since forgiven him, but i don't think that we can help becoming angry at some things that people do. Even God gets angry at times, and He's as righteous and just as they come.

"without cause" (see?)

when to be angry? somewhere in Scripture is written "be CONSTANTLY angry with a righteous indignation" .... but, that's not for here. that's at another place - it's for students already in training /trained/ in righteousness and with a teacher ready and able (to handle all contingencies and questions with 'right ruling').

Really? I haven't read that, but I can sort've wrap my mind around it. Find the reference for me if you can. I'd like to read that. :)

Grr! :lol

GOOD! ---- i'll look for it, you look too ---- it's slipped right in there between Genesis and Revelation ! :amen

you'll find it in "the new testament an expanded translation" by kenneth s. wuest.
(perhaps the most authoritative/accurate rendering from the original greek (the original hebrew being unavailable) )

Between Genesis and Revelation? Ah! Here it is, right where you said it would be, lol.

Ephesians 4:23-27
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil./

Apparently, this is a quote from Psalm 4, when David was angry at Absolom.

Psalm 4:4
4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah./

Even though, it doesn't say anger, the word "awe" in strongs does define it that way.

Awe
H7264
רגז
râgaz
raw-gaz'
A primitive root; to quiver (with any violent emotion, especially anger or fear): - be afraid, stand in awe, disquiet, fall out, fret, move, provoke, quake, rage, shake, tremble, trouble, be wroth./ (Esword)

It doesn't say constantly, but it does seem to support what you said in general. There's more scriptures also, but I am not done reading them. I still have to do my morning reading too, but for now...thanks brother.

it's worthy and worth buying - a lot of clarity that's not usually seen in other translations.

I need to meditate on this a bit. Even though it says anger, and even if God gets angry at times, His anger and our anger is different I feel. He is love and full of compassion also. So I suspect that when God is angry, he is also feeling compassion at the same time.

This may be true, but like most things, it may be deeper than what is on the surface of it.

no "may be".
but yes, not understood in untied states or religious circles or irreligious circles.

note "righteous indignation" , not man's anger. (remember man's anger does not work the righteousness of Yhvh).

very big difference. life and death. day and night. Yhvh's vs man's.

Scripture says to be Yhvh's Way, (in much that is never thought of or discussed by anyone), and probably no one else you know comprehends or seeks to live totally His like this - they've never been taught and don't dare think about ... ... .... but this all rests with Yhvh - it is all His and only His doing in Yeshua, as He Pleases.

Ok, so when we think of righteous indignation or anger...we must be careful to do this spiritually and with a spiritual focus...not letting the carnal mind seep in for any consideration of the matter. Otherwise, we would be instantly going carnal and totally changing the definition of such anger and perspective. This righteous indignation must be Yhvh's Himself and not our own for He is in us and we have His mind and heart. All things are done unto God, even becoming angry. But even the anger must be a loving anger for God is love and we are to become love and love our brothers as ourselves.

Make sense?
